• Segra owns and operates a best-in-class molecular biology lab for all our testing.
• Segra has created 8 PCR-based pathogen assays for cannabis, developed in-house by our molecular biology team.
• Segra has one of the most reliable Hop Latent Viroid (HLVd) assays in the country
• Segra runs our in-house DNA Fingerprinting process to ensure true-to-type genetic supply and maintains an extensive database of all samples processed to date; over 6,500.
• All cultivars in Segra’s inventory are routinely tested for our full pathogen panel, and DNA Fingerprints are regularly verified.
• Each order that leaves our facility is tested for Hop Latent Viroid (HLVd), is DNA Fingerprinted, and pest inspections are conducted. All tests must pass before shipment is released.
• Segra has been able to initiate and regenerate cultivars back to their truest form, remediating pathogens through our apical meristem tissue culture process. To date, we have successfully initiated over 80 client cultivars.
• All Segra cultivars are regenerated from the same gold standard, apical meristematic tissue culture.
